Typing for the sake of adding an update to my profile. It's been so long since I've contributed to my Gallery, but I haven't stopped doodling on the side.  Hoping to show the DA community I'm still a contender for your attention and am deeply happy this site even exists, for the obvious reason of networking all of us like minded creative types. My shout out to everyone, I'll be posting regularly again soon.

I've been uploading a number of rolodex drawings and so far I'm enjoying what I'm putting down in these little 3.5"x2" cards more than what I have in my sketchbook. The small format forces you to focus on a specific aspect of your imagination and when you draw it out, it turns out to be much more concentrated.  Also there's a level of mystery since the viewer is left to fill out the rest of the scene with imagination. Besides, who uses Rolodexes anymore?

My last journal entry was on April 11th. On April 12th (Saturday) my daughter was born!  Very exciting and good reason to step away from the computer for a while. I noticed my cute Chinese Zodiac animals are the most popular thing I have in my gallery. I'll have to look for my originals and make something more available from them. Thanks to everyone who's come by to visit me so far!
